I went to Palermo to experience the city I had read about in literature and to deepen my Italian skills, and upon arriving there I was in complete awe of the richness of its history, food, culture, and hospitality, all framed by palm trees, citrus groves, and blooming flowers. The experience was beyond words, and my life has never been the same since.
I've founded this travel agency to give others the opportunity to experience this unique place where tourists and Palermitans live together in full immersion.
Collaboration with local residents and small businesses is important to us. Our partners offer apartments in Palermo's historic centre. During your stay, you will have your own apartment in the heart of Palermo's historic centre, close to the city's many attractions, cafés, restaurants and the language school. This allows you not only to visit Palermo, but also to gain an authentic insight into everyday life in the city. By working with local providers instead of large hotel chains, we aim to create a more authentic experience while also supporting the local community.
We collaborate with one of Sicily's most renowned Italian language schools, with more than 25 years of experience teaching Italian to international students. The school's courses combine pedagogical expertise with a dynamic and engaging teaching approach, making language learning both effective and inspiring. Each lesson is designed to feel natural and immersive, allowing students to gradually build confidence and fluency in Italian. The standard course consists of 20 hours of instruction per week. In smaller groups, the number of teaching hours is adjusted, as the more individualized format allows for a more intensive and personalized learning experience. For groups of 2–4 students, the course comprises 15 hours per week, while one-to-one tuition comprises 10 hours per week. This format creates an ideal balance between holiday, language learning, and cultural immersion. After class, you will have plenty of time to explore Palermo, experience everyday Sicilian life, and put your newly acquired language skills into practice in real-life situations.
